Just darned irritating, since the first part of the two-parter had actually been fairly gripping. This one was ruined by lousy scripting - it really wouldn't have taken much (a little techno babble about how the spaceship had to skim the gravity well to get away) and as for the windshield thing - yeah, made about as much sense as that transparent bubble on top of the Enterprise blowing out when they crashlanded in one of the movies!
RTD must *know* fans are picky ... or does he think Who fans just won't notice?
