What we learned today

When Microsoft claimed all 32,000 games in original Freecall came out, they were lying.  Game 11,982 can't be got out.

I didn't know this when I passed that number, since I got up to 70,510 before I got the extended version with more games and stopped counting.  At any rate, I'm now wondering whether I'm the only person in the world to have got 11,982 out.

If so, I think I'll keep quiet about it ...

Heavens no, that was nearly 10 years ago!! I'm absolutely sure I hadn't missed any games, though ... if I couldn't get them out I put them on a short list and kept going back to them until I did ...

My dad can't lose on Freecell, it bothers me. He'll beat 30 games in a row and then get bored. I can't even beat solitaire.

Freecell's actually quite easy when you get the hang of it, and only 8 games out of the 1,000,000 options don't come out, so Wikipedia reckons. Solitaire, on the other hand, does NOT always come out!!
