Sundays

So there went a week's holiday. Did I get everything done I needed to get done? No. Did I even get CLOSE to doing everything ...? No! Would I have done more if the sun had shone more ...? Probably not. Sigh. Everything always takes longer than I expect, and involves more problems.

One thing that did work - the new trolley for the old PC in the media room went together like a dream, it only cost £14.99 from Staples and is actually quite a nice piece of furniture - so I recommend it. It's actually called INDIANA (!). This means I can now work on the desk, if I don't mind sharing the room with a number of spiders. Hm, it may be eviction time!

Another thing that worked - the second half of the hair dye I used several months ago seems to have worked as well as the first half, thus proving that despite what it says on the label, you CAN halve it. Don't try this unless your hair is as thin and short as mine, though!

And finally - I got the raised flowerbed started, the first couple of feet. The camomile lawn, however, is a bit thin and stringy, as the camomile needeed planting out several months ago and we weren't ready for it. Again, things take longer ...

Things that DIDN@T work - having worked my way patiently through a large amount of SACRED UNDERWORLD, I got stuck, and the only solution appears to be applying the latest patch. Except if I do that, old saved games won't work.

Sigh.

Tomorrow - back to worrying about youth justice and the Children Act. And whether I need to find the money for my PDYJ ...
