themis1Suspect I am the last person in the world still using Windows ME, but not for much longer, since after receiving a dodgy e-mail, I have, according to Mythichistorian, corrupted .DLL files, which means I shall have to bite the bullet and update to Windows 2000, in order to do which I should probably delete the many, many computer Games I have on it. But it's so laborious typing on a laptop keyboard - this modern thing of putting the keys at the back of the lower half is completely unfriendly to touch-typists. No doubt designed by a man who thinks touch typing is passe.
Have had several mad moments lately. In one, agreed to write a story for Mythichistorian's Watcherathon, or whatever. Now have an excellent idea I will have trouble keeping down to any sort of sensible length. In the other mad moment, committed myself to doing the Professional Doctorate in Youth Justice recently introduced by the University of Luton. Cheap at £3,000 a year, mind you. There is no truth in the rumour that Mythichistorian and I are joined at the hip.
In other news, Phoebesmum has started work, which means working at home is now subject to frequent interruptions by pussy cats who can't possibly wait until tea time for a food intake. I am being cruel and making them wait - they really have *got* to get used to it!
Am hoping to get the Rydyn novel finished Real Soon Now, but it'll be far too long to post!!
