A few gardening photos

The below shows the patio half-scrubbed, and clearly shows why it needed doing!



And here is one of our azaleas, showing its appreciation of the warm spring:



And finally (insert fanfare) I present - Hoppity! Our toad (?) survived the winter and sat still long enough for me to get the camera!

I had a feeling Hoppity had survived because the plants were amazingly uneaten the last time I visited. Hoorah!

All three pictures are amazing
- definitely worth finding the energy to finish scrubbing the patio - maybe the weather will be good enough next time I visit so that we can have a joint effort!
- the azalea is very beautiful and I do like it's little friend...

Something has eaten the two petunias I bought, before I could plant them, but otherwise the garden is much less slug-ridden than TH was. After all, Hoppity is only one slug, and how many slugs can one toad eat? (PS I checked, and in captivity one toad lived to 40 years old - !)
